The First Global Cross-border E-Commerce Conference is a grand event co-hosted by the WCO and China Customs. We sincerely invite high-level policy and decision makers (heads of organizations), as well as operational experts from all fields. With the theme “An innovative, inclusive, strategic and collaborative approach to sustainable cross-border E-Commerce”, this Conference will focus on embracing, seizing and leveraging opportunities presented by cross-border E-Commerce and find solutions enabling governments and the private sector to collectively address current and emerging challenges. In this respect, the Conference will explore key principles and effective management models that conform to the development of cross-border E-Commerce, reflect views and suggestions from diverse perspectives on Customs facilitation and control measures, and put forward collaborative solutions for addressing challenges relating to trade facilitation of growing volumes, safety and security, and the collection of duties and taxes.

Building upon on the work done by the WCO, its Members and partner stakeholders thus far, this conference will stimulate and advance strategic thinking towards innovative and inclusive solutions for a secure, sustainable and dynamic cross-border E-Commerce environment. The Conference will offer an excellent opportunity to learn about the latest information and evolving developments on different facets of cross- border E-Commerce. It will also provide a platform for the sharing of working experiences, best practices, practical solutions, and innovative pilots/initiatives.

  We are confident that your participation and valuable contribution to this First Global Cross-Border E-Commerce Conference will support, among others, the development of a comprehensive framework for cross-border E-Commerce.
